It was a very early morning wake-up call on Sunday for many Springbok rugby supporters in the UK - even in SA it was considered an early rise for a Sunday morning - too early for beer and biltong but just right for coffee and an Ouma Rusk - or two! The day started so perfectly with an encouraging and optimistic half-time, but at 72 minutes into the game this all changed.

The atmosphere doesn't feel quite as exhilarating as I can image it is down south. It may well be that watching rugby in the morning - that is if you are lucky enough not to have to go to work - is not the same as setting down to watch at home or in a pub in the evening while clasping a chilled beer in one hand and a hand full of biltong in the other shouting support and 'armchair expertise' at the screen. But, was has created a lot of media interest here is the off-field behaviour of the England team. Questionable whether the behaviour is to be reprimanded, but I am sure the media hyped it up due to the teams royal connections. But despite all this, the South African fans are gearing-up to what is hoped to be a exciting game with a successful outcome!
